N2  - The book looks at the way conflicts are reported and analysed in the media in the Bodo area, Nagaland-Manipur and Tripura. On the Nagaland-Manipur border it is the proposed visit of Muivah to his ancestral village and the refusal of the Manipur government to allow it. In the Bodo area it is the attack on Muslims after the last Lok Sabha elections. In Tripura it is the process of ethnic relations and peace building after the open conflict ended. Two daily newspapers are analysed for each case.
