He spoke from the heart and his discourses were mainly on the life and message of Adi Sankara. The stories of Goudapada, Govinda Bhagavatpada, the five lingas, the advent of Sri Shankaracharya have been told. The translations of His Holiness' discourses in 1932 speak of Skandasasti, and other related topics. The birth of Sri Sankaracharya took place on the fifth day in the bright fortnight in Vaisakha at Kaladi in the house of Sivaguru and Aryamba. Sri Sankaracarya took birth in Kerala because many Keralites had forgotten to study Vedas.
